Taylor and Tommy’s wedding at the Prescott Club at Stone Ridge was one of those days where I truly don’t think things could have come together anymore perfectly. They were such an incredible couple to get to know and were so fun and laid back. At the same time, they were very detail oriented though, which as a photographer I love.
Every little detail came together flawlessly and it was by far one of the most beautiful weddings that I have not only worked, but also attended in my life even. From the table arrangements, to all of the gorgeous florals everywhere, to the stunning lavender bridesmaids dresses, it all went together seamlessly. Everything was thought through, down to them even having two signature drinks, named after their beloved cat and dog. Which as an obsessed dog mom myself, I thought was the cutest idea!
Their ceremony was breathtaking over looking the Stone Ridge golf course. Then afterwards, Taylor, Tommy, and myself all got to hop in golf carts and drive off to their portrait location away from everyone. It wasn’t my first time getting to ride in a golf cart to a location on a wedding day, but each time it still always add a fun element to the day and never gets old! (and after standing for 8+ hours on a wedding day, I’ll take any chance I can get to rest my feet for a minute! haha) I loved where we got to take their husband and wife portraits at the Prescott Club venue. Since there aren’t many trees around and you’re just right on the open grass, you can get the most gorgeous glowy, sunset in the background.
Even though their wedding day had a very soft, elegant, and romantic vibe to the day, these two and their guests still knew how to have a good time! In the middle of their open dancing later that night, they had a surprise french fry bar, which was a huge hit. Everyone got giant glow sticks to use throughout the night, their adorable dog Blue made an appearance and danced with everyone on the dance floor, and they ended the night with an epic sparkler exit.
After the wedding, Taylor left the sweetest review that meant to much to me, saying, “Dalaney is amazing and I highly recommend her for any type of photos you’re needing! She did our wedding photos as well as a complimentary engagement photo shoot about 6 months before the wedding. She is so sweet, so easy to work with and takes beautiful, bright photos. She provided a bridal packet with so many details that were so helpful in what to prepare for and also provided a questionnaire to fill out before the big day, to let her know exactly what we were wanting. She also gave great input for our wedding day timeline and just made this whole process really easy. She was a really calm presence for us during the wedding and we’re so happy we found her. Hearing stuff like that truly means the world to me and it makes me so happy that they enjoyed working with me as much as I did with them! It really was the dreamiest day, which makes me so excited to share some of my favorite pictures from their wedding today on the blog!
