Anastasia and Eric’s wedding day at Van Dickson Ranch was not only incredibly beautiful, but also so much FUN! Every wedding that I have gotten to document and be a part of over the years, always has its own vibe to the day. When I think of Ana and Eric’s, the first thing that comes to mind is really how much fun it was!
Their wedding had a huge, beautiful, bounce house at their reception- which was a first for me! As soon as Ana told me that they were going to have one and that she wanted pictures in it, I was SO excited! Not only did the bounce house entertain their guests (adults and kids both!), it also gave us the opportunity to get some epic pictures of them (AND their bridal party)! It was a win-win overall! I thought it was such a unique and fun idea. I posted a reel about it over on my instagram and it ended up getting millions of views and comments, so apparently the rest of the internet agreed!
One of the other memorable things about their wedding day is that they got married in the most beautiful, hidden oasis! Their venue, Van Dickson Ranch, is located in Skull Valley, Arizona. If you’ve never been there or driven through, you would never ever think there was a location there that looked like this! On your drive to the venue it’s a long dirt road practically in the middle of nowhere. Then once you get to the venue you start to see all of the gorgeous greenery and trees! The actual ceremony site was especially beautiful, in the grass beneath tall, beautiful trees all around.
Adding to the beauty, was their perfectly selected details. From the pampas grass, to the gorgeous florals, I was in photographer heaven! I loved every detail and it was just such an incredible day to get to be a part of!
